AusPost removes priority letters service

The Federal Government announced yesterday they will temporarily adjust Australia Post’s Performance Standards to reflect the operating constraints and limitations that have resulted from COVID-19. Under the temporary changes, Australia Post will no longer provide its priority letters service. The changes will apply until 30 June 2021, subject to review.

All mailings submitted to Bing from today will be lodged with Australia Post as regular mail. Also, mailings submitted yesterday evening as priority have been converted and priced as regular mail. Unfortunately we could not advise any earlier as we were only informed of the change yesterday afternoon with the rest of Australia.
